James’ Custom Kitchens was formed when James moved from the suburbs up to the hills in 2022.
James has been a qualified cabinet maker for over 20 years, working with the same company growing and honing his skills over this time. Family, financial pressures and the economy kept him there until he finally realised, he had outgrown that company and wanted to take his craft to the next level.
James’ Custom Kitchens is a small family business. Locally owned and operated, providing expert cabinet making services to the South East Melbourne, Emerald, Yarra Valley regions and beyond.
At James Custom Kitchen’s you will have the same person throughout the whole process ensuring the client gets exactly what they want.
Our Approach
James enjoys the design process and can visualise the space and how to utilise it when he walks into a room. We ensure that you’ll be collaborating with someone who cares about how the space is used, how the functionality will flow and of course the important aesthetic. Although the main work is kitchens, he takes on most joinery projects. James is there from the first design meeting to the install at the end!
